Medicare Advantage

Also known as “Part C”, this is a “bundled” plan that includes Part A, Part B, and usually Part D as an alternative to Original Medicare and may also offer some extra benefits.

Medicare Supplement

Also known as “Medigap,” or “MedSup”, these are policies that help cover certain out-of-pocket costs that Original Medicare, Part A and Part B, doesn’t cover, like copayments and deductibles.

Prescription Drug Plans (PDP)

Part D is an optional plan that helps pay for prescription drugs and certain vaccines. It fills the gaps for medications that Original Medicare doesn’t cover.
